New Hip Surgery

Dr Jeannet Kessels is now able to perform Hip Denervation Surgery for those dogs with hip arthritis. This is an extremely effective procedure to remove the source of pain from both hips. New Cruciate Ligament Surgery Technique

Whilst Ruptured Anterior Cruciate Ligaments are a concern for State of Origin Footballers, they also occur in dogs! Recent research in surgery has led to the development of the Liga Fibre Toggle Technique for ACL Rupture in large breeds of dogs. SDVC surgeons are able to perform this surgery in dogs over 30kg, and continue with the previous De Angelis technique in smaller breeds.
