Boarding Kennels and Catteries

When we go away on holidays, we like to know that our pets are well looked after in a home away from home. Boarding kennels and catteries are good options for those times when we are unable to take our pets with us.

It is important to note that boarding facilities require pets to be up to date with their annual vaccinations, or their vaccination must be given at least 10 days prior to their first day of boarding.

SDVC recommends the following boarding facilities:

Springfield District Vets Cat Boarding

Springfield District Vets is proud to provide a snug new boarding facility for cats. We feel this will be an appreciated service for our clients. Each of our facilities has 3 levels, one for stretching, one for feeding and one for lounging.

Our cat boarding facilities are situated away from the dogs, in an area of high staff traffic, where they will be regularly seen and talked to. Cuddles and kindness guaranteed.

We will provide premium quality food for your cat, unless you would prefer to provide and alternative diet.

It is necessary for cats to be up-to-date with vaccinations, worming and flea treatment prior to admission and this can be booked at Springfield District Vets as necessary. At least two weeks prior to admission is ideal for vaccinations.

Admission times are from 7am to 5:30 pm weekdays, or 8am to 2pm Saturdays.

Please phone us on 3288 1574 to book your cat's boarding for any vacations or weekends away which you may be planning.
